Vista Sonoma participates in a program designed to maintain affordable rental apartment homes for age and income qualified senior residents.
The four building, three-story Vista Sonoma senior community is located on a bus route for convenient access to shopping, banking, medical facilities, and recreation. Each building is access-controlled, and is serviced by an elevator. There are 125 one-bedroom and 64 two-bedroom apartments. Several apartments are handicap accessible and contain modifications. The community offers on-site management, eleven laundry facilities, community garden, beauty salon, billiards room, computer room, storage rooms to rent, and a comfortable community room for residents to gather and enjoy each others company.

Every member of the household must be age 55 or older.
Rental qualifications also include household monthly income to be at least two times the
monthly rent and have a minimum of 3 years of verifiable rental/mortgage history.
Maximum annual household income cannot exceed 60% of the area median income as described below:

Vista Sonoma Senior Community showcases an array of amenities including a professionally decorated community/recreation offering a television, computer room, an assortment of games, books, and puzzles, billiards table and fresh coffee available during business hours. The community/recreation room can also be reserved by residents for private family celebrations.
Various activities for those residents who choose to participate include potluck gatherings, summer BBQ’s, birthday celebrations, trips to various locations, and bingo.
City bus transportation comes directly to the front Rental Office for the convenience of all residents.
